先週の出来事

My parents,my sister and her children had come our home from Tokyo last week.
They had stayed for a week.

We went to Asahiyama Zoo.
This was the first time to visit Asahiyama Zoo for me let alone my parents and my sister.
We had a wonderful time at Asahiyama.
We watch seals,polar bears,monkeys,deers,orangutan and so on.
Animals are cute.
But I heared many animals in the zoo are endangered species because of global warming.
What can we do for the animals?

They had gone home last week end.
My son and I miss them.
My husband can relax and feel free now・・・I think.
I hope they will visit our home again.

heavy rain

It's raining very heavy today.
And it has been windy since last night.
I have to stay home today becouse I'm worry about driving in this strong wind.
It's a little dengerous and・・・
Actually,I hit another car with my car's door once when I tried to out from my car in a windy day.
So,I 'm cautious to driving out in windy days.

In April,we had hot days and we felt as if it were summer.
But these days,I felt a little chilly without a jacket.

My son is going to go to hiking in nursary tommorow.
I hope it will be fine tommorow.

Learning languages

I like learning languages.
Now I study English,of course,to be an interpriter guide.
And I also study French and Spanish.
Well・・・actually,I brush up my French.
I study French before,about 15years ago,but I couldn't learned to speak French.
Knowing difference and similarity between languages is really fun.
I have no clear reason why I should study French and Spanish.
Just because I like to do.
Someday I want to be able to say what I want in French and Spanish.

Showa Day

It is April 29th today.
And today is "Showa Day",which is the birthday of Emperor Showa.
Until 2004(I think,) it was called "Midori-no-hi" or "Greenery Day"because Emperor Showa loved nature and he planted many trees throughout Japan.
Though the name changed, we have to think more about enviromental problem and our future as well as about Showa era.

Spring has come!

We have been having good and warm wether recently.
And finally,cherry blossom front arrives here,Hokkaido.
According to the Meteorological Agency,it is earlier than usual(about 10days).
We have had little snow this winter.
And I think we had a mild winter last year.
I'm anxious about global warming.
We have to take some action for the enviromental problems.
It's not easy though.

Anyway,I like spring climate of Japan.
(But to be honest,I like summer the best.)
And I'm looking forward to viewing cherry blossoms.
I don't have any plans for cherry blossom viewing party this year.
